BUILDING REGULATION REQUIRES 50% OF HOT WATER TO BE GREEN!!
The building regulation requires that 50% of any new development’s hot
water be provided from a renewable source.  This also applies to
residential homes that are built.
Renewable sources include solar water heating and heat pump
technology.
Electricity pricing continues to increase
Since the initial electricity blackouts in
South Africa in 2008, the National Energy
Regulator (Nersa) has granted Eskom an
annual average increase of 22% a year for
seven years.
